Seminary Program

Seven-Year Program for the Bachelor’s Degree with Preparation for Priestly Ministry in the Archeparchial Seminary of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church

Besides the courses listed in the above five-year program, the seven-year program includes courses in pastoral theology and practice which are necessary for priestly ministry. These courses are integrated into a philosophical and theological curriculum of academic courses.

The Academy determines the required courses for receiving the academic diploma. The administration of the Seminary regulates which courses a seminarian must take to receive a recommendation for the priesthood. (For example, perhaps not all language courses and seminars which are necessary for further scholarly work will be required).

The non-obligatory courses are indicated with the sign of “*”.
