3. Topical Issues in Curriculum Development Sessions

OSA-Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology

– Rethinking Cultural Geography: Critical Concepts, Political Landscapes and Cultural Identities, April 26-May 2, 2010
Deadline for applications: 15 th March, 2010

4.Departmental Curriculum Development Session
one week agreed for mid-April-June, 2010
Deadline for application: 15 th February, 2010

All CRC Applicants must:
– Be university teachers and/ or professionals (who teach part-time)in the Social Sciences and Humanities from the region (non EU countries) who are preparing to revise or develop their courses;
– Have sufficient English language ability, both written and spoken, to participate in discussions and use resource materials;
– Submit an application with all accompanying required documents as stated on the CRC application form.

CRC will cover all costs for:
– Travel related expenses including airfare, transportation and visa fees.
Note: All reimbursement requests must be accompanied by original, valid
receipts.
– Hotel, transport, insurance and living expenses while in Budapest.

In addition, participants will receive:
– Book purchase allowance to buy books for participants’ home university
or departmental library
– Photocopying allotment to aid in the gathering of course materials.
